As my senior year comes to an end, it is time to write my final goodbye. I am not the best at writing personal things, I have mostly focused on news and politics throughout my time at the nest, so please give me a little bit of grace when reading this.

Firstly, thank you to everyone, the amazing staff of writers here at the nest, my incredible managing editor Olivia Steuer, our club advisor Mr. Dring, and of course, the readers including my wonderful family, who have always supported me and my writing. 

Through all four of my years at this school, the nest has always been one of my favorite parts of it and it has taught me so much. This paper has allowed me to develop my skills as a writer, my skills as a researcher, and has taught me a lot about leadership in my time as Editor-in-Chief as well as just being a fun place to talk about my interests and learn about the world around me. 

I hope this club is able to continue to grow and expand and I cannot wait to keep reading and see what it turns into, so, in case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight!
