Do you need a look for a prom or a night out? This smokey eye makeup look will enhance your eye color and make you the center of attention for any event! Substitute the colors to your liking or dress if needed!
1. Prime your lids with an eyelid primer or, alternatively, concealer or foundation. The purpose of this step is to ensure the eyeshadow colors pop! This will also remove any discoloration you may have from lack of sleep or natural pigmentation.
2. Apply a light gray eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. For this step you can use either your fingers or an eyeshadow brush if you want a more precise application.
3. Apply a darker gray color on the outer side of the light gray. We are gradually going darker and darker until we are ready to add a deep black onto the outer corner and blending that into the crease.
4. Apply a deep black onto the outer corner of the lids. Apply that into the crease and blend until you hit the inner corner of the eye.
5. To draw attention to your eyes and to make them appear larger and more awake, apply a shimmery white color to the inner corner, tear duct, and center of your eyelid.
6. Apply the same shimmery white eyeshadow to your brow bone. This will highlight your eyebrows and complete the look!
7. Apply eyeliner to the outer corner of your lower lash-line and drag it up to create a wing-like effect. With a small brush lightly blend the wing into the black.
8. Apply a navy, turquoise, light blue, and white eyeshadow on the lower lash-line, gradually creating a gradient effect. A pop of color can accentuate your eye color!
9. Apply a white eyeliner to your water line and inner corner.
10. Apply your favorite black liquid eyeliner close to your lash line.
11. Put on a couple of coats of mascara.
12. Curl your lashes. This will add the finishing touches to your look and make your lashes look long and luscious! No need for fake eyelashes!
Enjoy your night!
