On February fifteenth, Albany High Students will embark on a twelve day trip to Europe. During the February break, these students will travel overseas to experience and try to understand new cultures, classical art, and world renowned monuments.
The trip is directed by EF educational tours and is overseen by Albany High’s own Ms. Justice (history teacher for fifteen years) and Mrs. Dinovo (French teacher for thirty-two years). These two teachers have been leading the Europe trips for over ten years and although they want the children to enjoy the experience of a global education, their primary concern is safety.
On this twelve day endeavor they will travel to London, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. In each city they will visit; Big Ben, The House Of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St.Pauls Cathedral, Windsor Castle, The Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées , The Royal Palace, The Museo del Prado, and The Park Guell. This annual trip is open to all students and parents/guardians. The trip costs $2,800 and fifty-two students and parents will be attending this year.
This is a great opportunity for the students of Albany High because you get to take your learning experience farther then the pages of your textbooks and the walls of the school. See Ms. Justice or Ms. Dinovo for more information if you would like to experience one of these trips in the future!
